Sparks fly when Lisa and Giorgio run into each other by accident in the Georgian city of Kutaisi. The moment is too electrifying for either of the two to formally introduce themselves. All they agree on is that they must meet again. Little do they know, however, that a dark spell has been cast upon them. Will they see each other again? Will they be able to recognize each other? There’s a playful and genuinely romantic gaze present in ’What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?’ making it both a subtle love story and a kaleidoscopic city-symphony. An open and unbiased film on magical transformations and the enchantment of the coincidental occurrences of the everyday.
