20 Years of Super16 - Anniversary Talk
Super16 turns 20 this year and we’re celebrating the alternative film school that has enriched Danish cinema and brought talents together in new, exciting constellations.
From WEEKENDs programme alone Jonas Arnby (‘Suicide Tourist’), Marie Grahtø and Amalie Lyngbo Hjort (‘Psychosia’), Daniel Borgman and Katja Adomeit (‘Resin’) are all graduates from Super16.
Super16 is more than a film school. It is a union of young filmmakers cultivating their competencies over three years. The students themselves drive the course of the education and each year the current students accept six new directors, six producers and four screenwriters to carry on and continue the food chain of the coalition.
How is this even possible or successful? Get to know more at our anniversary talk! Meet previous students who will share anecdotes and show clips from their Super16 productions. We’re joined by Amalie Lyngbo Hjort (‘Cutterhead’ and ‘Psychosia’), Ask Hasselbach (‘Antboy’), Sissel Dalsgaard Thomsen (‘The Return’), Jesper Morthorst (‘Silent Heart’, ‘Rita’) and Tilde Harkamp (‘Hunting Season’).
Tickets: 30 DKK
The celebration of Super16 contnues Thursday night with a big bash at Søpavillionen. You are all invited!
